Bondi Discloses Investigation into Trump Rivals and Jeffrey Epstein Ties

On Friday, the Attorney General assigned Jay Clayton to oversee an inquiry into opponents of Donald Trump and their links with the late financier. This action came hours after Trump instructed her to begin the investigation.

This action contrasts with a recent memorandum from federal authorities which declared that the Epstein files did not warrant additional investigations. According to the memo, investigators “lacked sufficient evidence to pursue cases against other parties.”
